Hello! Thanks for visiting my blog! My name is Runda and I’m just your average mom trying to make it through each day while enjoying my children, and trying to take better care of myself mentally, emotionally, and physically.
I’m an Occupational Therapist by profession and I have worked with adults struggling with mental health difficulties. I’ve worked with mothers struggling with postpartum mood and anxiety disorders and I’ve personally experienced firsthand the many struggles that come with motherhood and adjusting to this incredible new life role so my posts are coming from both a professional and a personal perspective. I currently work with children with special needs in schools and I sometimes bring some tips on how to support our children’s emotional needs into my posts to further support mothers along their motherhood journeys.
I started an Instagram page two years ago when my daughter was just about three months old as a way to support moms everywhere with my reflections, tips, and inspiration regarding motherhood, and helping mothers feel supported, empowered, and less alone on their unique motherhood journeys. I’m a big advocate for caring for mothers and giving them the support they need as they care for and nurture their babies. I’m also very passionate about maternal mental health and helping moms find healthy ways of coping.
